EL KOTZ SOURCE 2000 - 2001
clay, concrete, thorns
height - 2.5m diameter - 1.8m

A place - Temple like - for assembling, observing, meditating. A
source of nourishment. Encompassing my ongoing search for dialogue
between nature and culture. Naturally the thorns in their wildness
invade the man-made concrete pipes, which almost suffocate their
surroundings. And in the midst of all, joined palms yearning and
praying for a few drops of water, a pure source of nourishment.
